“I never appreciated what a reliable company you were until I had to book with someone else. When I booked with a competitor, because my neighbor was going with me and she had a coupon for a bargain. It turned out disastrous. We booked our flight out of Los Angeles International. This was an International flight-to London Heathrow. First, the competitors driver was late. We were frantic, trying to see if she was going to drive, or if I was. Then the driver shows up. Wearing shorts-I kid you not. I asked him if he had a problem finding our house. Nope. I was really relieved that he arrived, because I was not really too thrilled about driving to Los Angeles International.
I usually fly out of San Diego International. We finally get on the road. An hour into the drive, I notice that he did not take the 91. He continued north. Five miles up, I asked him. He said he knew the quickest way. After two hours on the road, I am worried. This guy ends up pulling off the road and calling someone. Turns out, he does not know where he is going. After three hours, we made it. Very concerned that we would not make our flight. We arrived at the gate, just as they were calling the last boarding call. Never again, will I book with someone just to save 20. bucks. I was completely stressed.
